Claire and Luke couldn't have picked a more gorgeous crisp afternoon for their special day. Their service was held at St Marys in Old Amersham, which was followed by wedding portraits at Danesfield House & Spa near Marlow and a gorgeous reception at Old Luxters Barn in Hambleden near Henley on Thames.
Claire chose an autumnal theme for the wedding and the bouquets (made by her new Mum-in-law) in beautiful burnt oranges and ambers were absolutely stunning.
We had a great time shooting the couple's portraits at Danesfield House. Claire and Luke had set a whole hour aside for these special photos while their guests went on ahead to the reception, so we had a wonderful opportunity to get creative and try out lots of beautiful ideas. I loved using Danesfield House as a backdrop - not only is the building itself beautiful, but the gardens - especially the views across the River Thames below are just out of this world!
On arrival at the reception venue one of the couple's friends played the beautiful grand piano at Old Luxters Barn while the guests enjoyed champagne and canapes.
A fabulous wedding I'm sure you'll agree! Enjoy these highlights, and guests can see the full gallery (password needed) here
