I was down in Exeter over the weekend to see family and while I was down there I met up with model Emily Hakin for a really quick bridal fashion shoot in Exmouth. No glamorous hair and makeup artists on this occasion, just me, Emily and my Mum - who very gamely carried my camera gear about after me!
We found this awesome pink wall down a country road, and then we headed on to Exmouth beach and dunes. Emily did really well - especially considering sand flew into her eye at one point!
I'm still catching up with all my editing from last week, but here are a couple from this shoot in the meantime!
Hi there!
Oops, you have stumbled across my old blog! I am now under www.rosieparsons.com/blog with a whole new fun look!
You can stay here and have a good look through some of the past weddings I've shot, but for the latest news and goings on you'll want to be over here!
Look forward to seeing you on the other side :)

Kingston Bagpuize Bridal Fashion
The second location for our shoot on Monday was at Kingston Bagpuize House, near Oxford with models Gemma, Jerri and Rachel. We had a great time shooting there, and I'm looking forward to returning in August when I'm back at the venue to shoot a wedding.

Bridal fashion in Oxford
Just catching up from last week's editing marathon..! Monday I hooked up again with fab makeup artist of the year - Wrappit Award winner Sarah Brock for a very colourful bridal fashion shoot near Oxford. The first part of the morning was spent taking photos of our model Gemma near Witney against this amazing blue barn. She looks amazing and it was great to finally do some bridal shots at this fab location!

Dartmoor bridal shoot
I'm a bit late uploading these as they were done over Christmas, but I thought you would still enjoy them! I grew up in Devon and absolutely love Dartmoor. I'd had an idea to do a bridal shoot on the moors, but unfortunately no real life brides of mine were planning on getting married in the wilds anytime soon... So handily because I have very beautiful friends, I was able to get my old school friend Emma to agree to model for me! I don't think she had quite thought it through, because she seemed a bit shocked when she stepped out of the nice warm car into sub zero temperatures, while only wearing a very thin white dress... :) However, she soldiered on and was very brave - and hopefully you will agree, it was worth the pain!! I love the last image of her after the shoot on the way to the pub!

I was going for a vintage theme, and we had some absolutely tremendous people involved to create these really cool 1950s style wedding portraits. Hope you enjoy!

Bridal shoot at The Bear, Hungerford
Today was a real treat! I was back again at the fabulous Bear Hotel in Hungerford to do a bridal themed fashion shoot in their amazing bridal suite, which is full of funky hot pinks and even has a freestanding bath!
We had the most amazing team of people involved, including stunning models Catherine Locardi, Anna Ewart and Emily Foreman, who were made up by the very talented Lora Papez alongside Heather who did a brilliant job with the hair (as well as ably assisting me with my huge lights - a multi talented lady!!). Styling was by wedding planner extraordinaire Beverly Pearce from All Things Bride & Beautiful in Buckingham who also supplied the gorgeous range of wedding dresses we had to choose from!
We also were treated to some very beautiful wedding bouquets from Henley on Thames florists Stemtation
Thanks to everyone involved for working so hard (and getting up so early!). Here's a sneak peek - I know there are lots of eager people dying to see!
